My neck hurts. My pictures are grossly inconsistent. My PL filter worked against me. My speedlite was heavy and useless.... Not a single shot with the prime lens. Had to leave the Crumpler bag home because it couldn't fit nappies and extra clothings for Hazeeq. And got my wallet stolen in Paris
What went wrong.? Define family vacation... to relax. enjoy the new surrounding, beautiful atmosphere and try something new. 2. Or you hunt for every photo opportunity, force your wife and kid to pose with1.5 kg hanging on your neck, accessories in your bag pack + food water and spare clothing/jacket and occasionally carry 13kg Hazeeq whenever he decides to be tired or wanted to sleep. Long2 walk in the city center..Hardly a vacation. Very tiring experience.
I got near 3500 snaps. half of them are useless. Was it worth it? i dunno... i got some amazing pictures that otherwise i can't get with my samsung p&s.
Will i just carry the Samsung if i had to do it again? Yes.
No need to mention the tripod.
